Being a self-producing artist is admirable, everyone smiles and nods, congratulates you on living the “dream” and when they think of you when they lay their head on their pillow, they think, “they really have it together.” HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I’m sorry, that was uncalled for.
Creating, promoting, producing and performing your own work with very little outside help is fulfilling, but devastatingly difficult. My first show of 2014 cost me about $2000 of my own money and about 30 hours a week of my time (on top of my full time job), This is in no way a complaint, but more… the reality of the situation. You wake up and think, “starter from the bottom and I’m here?”
I have met so many people who look for ways to help out and now there is a way to help me! I’m producing my next show, Showbiz and am having a Kick-off Party the day the campaign launches. The party is free to attend. It’s a chance for me to talk to the masses, let them know of my efforts and show them why they should send a few dollars my way. I’m going all the way, because this is my biggest project yet. So, please come to the party. Invite everyone you know! You have nothing to lose.
This party goes 0-100, real quick (we only have 2 hours)
